“We were blown away from the second we rounded the steep mountain driveway and got the first glimpse of this magnificent cabin! It only got better from there. Vicki is by far the most attentive, organized, and thoughtful hostess we’ve ever had the pleasure of renting from. Her attention to detail cannot be beat! She supplied everything you could ever need, plus some! This is not the norm in the rentals we’ve had in the past. She definitely takes the term “above and beyond” to a whole new level! We loved the decor and everything she did to make us feel at home. She even remembered it was my daughter’s birthday. She will never forget that! I was so touched by her kindness. The cabin is exactly as pictured, but BETTER! Hot tub, fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms, game room (which is an entirely separate living area), flash lights, chargers, hiking sticks (we were grateful to have them), all the fur baby items, baby items (although we didn’t use), and best of all the rockers overlooking the seclusion of her private property. Road in was definitely a little intimidating, which was part of the adventure! Luckily we only crossed paths with a few cars. Driveway is very steep, but even our small vehicle could handle it. You aren’t far from Gatlinburg, but far enough from the hustle and bustle. We took Vicki’s suggestion and ate at The Woodshed, so good!! Vicki, thank you for all you did, from your spotless cabin, to all your thoughtful extras. You helped make this a vacation we’ll always remember. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home! We will definitely be back!"
